We are a nonprofit on a mission of delivering accessible mindfulness programs for a healthier Fairfield County. Despite the proven benefits of mindfulness, local under-resourced neighborhoods face barriers to these tools. We're breaking those down those barriers with free in-person and virtual meditation sessions. Check out our calendar for more!

Upcoming Events
Start your weekend with a guided meditation and community connection—free and open to all! Join us Saturday mornings from 8:00–9:00 AM for a brief discussion, a 30-minute meditation, and optional Q&A. No experience needed—just a willingness to pause and breathe. We’d love to sit in community with you!
Join us Sunday mornings for community connections, conversation, and a brief discussion of the week’s practice, followed by a 30 minute guided meditation. Q & A and sharing after the meditation. Our sessions are secular, rooted in science and appropriate for new and experienced meditators and everyone in between.
Join us Tuesdays from 12–1PM at Ferguson Library in Stamford for a free, secular group meditation—open to all experience levels and no special gear needed. Each session includes a brief discussion, a 30-minute guided meditation, and optional Q&A to support your practice.
Detox from the stress of the day with a live guided meditation session. There will be conversation and community from 8:20-8:30PM, then a guided meditation. Each 30-minute meditation is appropriate for first-time meditators and those with long-standing practices.
Evening Zoom Meditation in partnership with Bridgeport Public Library.
Mindful Lunch Break -
Take a moment to rest & digest with CMP’s lunchtime meditations and connections - 12:15PM - 12:30PM. Every Wednesday in April.
Mindfulness and meditation activate the parasympathetic nervous system which decreases heart rate and respiration and increases digestion - truly allowing us to rest & digest.
All sessions are offered free of charge.

Community Mindfulness Project is offering a 6-Week Intro to Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program starting this April 2025 on zoom with expert facilitator, Lisa Sheehan. This program shares concepts & practices drawn directly from the original 8 week MBSR program, created by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the UMass Medical School.
