Spending time in community, observing noble silence offers a restorative, uplifting, nourishing meditation experience. Retreat participants will have an opportunity to benefit from a shared deepening of their practice and to develop a greater knowledge and kindness toward themselves, and by extension, others. Over the course of the day, we will engage in a variety of secular guided and silent mind-focusing and heart-opening practices. At the end of the day, we will exit silence, and celebrate the time we have taken to care for ourselves and, by extension, others. No meditation experience is necessary, but we do invite you to join us for our regular weekly sits.
Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided. Please bring your own lunch. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and bringing a mat and cushion, but it is not required – we will have some to borrow.
