We Couldn't Do It Without You
CMP works with nonprofits, like schools, social services agencies and community groups, helping their staff prevent the burnout that often comes with helping the most vulnerable in our communities. We also offer free and open community based programs both online and in-person in local libraries and community spaces. In short, CMP empowers people to lead healthier lives by expanding access to mindful meditation.
We do this because science has shown that mindfulness is a powerful tool to support mental, emotional and physical well-being and the world needs support right now.
We’ve worked with incredible community partners over the past several months, and wanted to share some of those details with all of you.
Our 2022-2023 partnership with Bridgeport Public Schools included work in multiple elementary/middle and high schools, with mindfulness-based programs reaching 400 youth attendees and 280 adult attendees.
Housatonic Community College welcomed CMP in to bring mindfulness meditation programs to their Equity Program participants
Career Resources reached out to CMP for support with their re-entry program, bringing mindfulness programs to justice-impacted and at-risk young adults.
CMP continues to partner with Building One Community, bringing age appropriate mindfulness practices to children in the B1C Summer Camp program.
CMP delivered mindfulness-based programs to the Girl Scouts of Connecticut, Prevention Corps, emme coalition, Bridgeport Library, LEAD, and Shakers Anonymous, offering tools for managing stress, emotional regulation, improving sleep, and offering compassion to oneself and others.
These are examples of the work we’ve been doing in the community, work that’s made possible because of you!
